Flossie "Elizabeth" Reeves, 87, was born on December 16, 1924 to Matthew Jackson and Margaret Pearman Hassell, in Gainesville, Texas. Elizabeth left this earthly world to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2012, in Pasadena, Texas. She is survived by her 3 sons, Jack, Joe and James Reeves and their families, her sister Lois Long, numerous family members, and her special friend Margie Wright and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 47 years Marvin Clayton Reeves, and her brother Harold Hassell.
Elizabeth studied at Abiline Christian College, and worked for Pasadena ISD in numerous capacities. She was a devoted member of Central Church of Christ in Pasadena, Texas.
Family and friends will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena. There will be a Graveside service on Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Gainesville, Texas at 2:00 pm.
