He was born in Conway, a son of the late Aaron Dee and Mary Ida Faulk Lewis.
He was the widower of Mackie Ethel Chestnut Lewis.
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and served as a deacon.
Survivors include a son, J.E. "Bud" Lewis of Conway; three daughters, Earlene Baxley of Denton, Texas, Shirley Lewis of Nichols and Vernell Johnson, all of Conway; a brother, Joseph H. Lewis of Conway; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
