#BLAKELY -- Joann Hickox, 62, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Odom officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Blaze, Blaine and Blythe Poston, Ashley and Brandon Brents, Travis Hamon and James McLendon.
#The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6-8 PM.
#Mrs. Hickox was born in Attapulgus, GA on August 29, 1950 to the late William Wiley Ellis and Niza Lee Glass Ellis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
#Mrs. Hickox is survived by her husband, John Mark Hickox of Blakely; one son, Danny Poston of Dothan, AL; six daughters, Tracy and Michael Jenkins of Blakely, Velma and Gordon Hamon of Albany, Mary Kaye and David Nobles of Thomasville, Peggy Shattles of Albany, Carol and Larry Dykes of Dothan, AL, Kristy and Joe McLemore of Washington, Illinois; one brother, Homer and Brenda Ellis of Quincy, FL; one sister, Sue Ellis Roland of Marianne, FL; twenty four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
