DUFF, James S. ''Buster'' James S. "Buster" Duff, age 84, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 3:03 p.m. at Garden Manor Retirement Village where he had resided since August 3, 2007. He was born August 3, 1923 in Bath County, Kentucky and lived in Middletown since 1941. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He was employed in Fabricating at Armco Steel for 30 years retiring in 1972. He also was employed at Phillips Petro (B.P.), and at Armco Park Association. He was a member of the Poasttown First Church of God. He was preceded in death by parents, Adrian and Mary Ellen (McClain) Duff; brother, Douglas Duff; sister, Daisy Trimble; step-son, Marvin Tarvin. He is survived by wife of 61 years, Eunice Duff; 4 children, Gary Duff – Middletown, Ohio, JoAnn Botts – Middletown, Ohio, Charles Duff – Middletown, Ohio, Rhonda Banks, husband Michael – Middletown, Ohio; step-daughter, Mary W. Deaton – Middletown, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; brother and sisters: Bob Duff, wife Jeanne, Clara Mull and Okie Buchur, husband Greg; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Poasttown First Church Of God, 6376 Middletown-Germantown Road (Route 4), Middletown, Ohio. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the church with with Reverend Randy Wallace, Reverend Rodney Williams and Reverend Everett Crockett officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio with Military Services by Franklin Post 7596 Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poasttown First Church Of God, 6376 Middletown-Germantown Road, Middletown, Ohio 45042. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown..
