PONTOTOC – Carrie Sue Bramlitt, 95, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1917, in Union County to William and Ethel Teague Pannell. She married Owen Neal Bramlitt on March 13, 1936. They were married until his death in 1990. She was a longtime member and charter member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church, which she loved dearly. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church. Bro. Jackie Whitley and Bro. Johnny Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ecru City Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one son, Richard Bramlitt of Pontotoc; five daughters, Ethelene Goggins (Winfred) of Olive Branch, Joyce Stubblefield (Paul), Doris Russell (John), Sandra Austin (Jerry) and Seretha Gregory (Curtis), all of Pontotoc; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a son, Leonard Bramlitt; a sister, Catherine Grubbs; a brother, Roy Pannell; a half sister, Faye Thomas; a half brother, Travis Pannell; two grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Neal Russell, Stacy Russell, Kelly Stewart, Carlisle Stubblefield, Brad Stubblefield and John Ray McCord.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Powell, Jimmy Foreman, Bobby May, Jim Harrison and Troy Bramlitt.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church.
