Grandpa Todd, father of Tom Todd of Canton and Ben Todd of the Stan community, died at the home of his son, Ben Todd, Friday night and was laid to rest in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev Frank Everett conducting the funeral services. Deceased was born in Alabama but came to Texas about 38 years ago and has since resided here. He enlisted in the Virginia army and served through the Civil War and was discharged at Yorktown.
