Fannie Moore was the daughter of John M. Moore from KY and his wife Sallie Ann Wills b. KY. She married twice. She married first 18 Mar 1852 in Ohio, William Anderson Thomason with whom she had children. He died June 1, 1897 and she became on 4 Jan 1900, the second wife of Stephen McComas. He was a widower as his wife Virginia had died Feb 25, 1897. Frances 'Fannie' (Moore) (Thomason) McComas died at home as Fannie McComas, age 88 from a brain hemorrhage. She was buried in Mt Olivet Cemetery where her first husband was buried, rather than with her 2nd husband Stephen McComas.

The History of Clay Co MO by William Woodson.
Pages 382 and 383 have a long 2 page write-up on the Thomason family.

One line of note was this: Fannie E. (Moore) Thomason is a native of Kentucky and a daughter of J.M. Moore and her mother bore the maiden name of Wills. J.M. Moore and family came to Missouri from Kentucky about 1854 and settled on a farm northwest of Liberty. Here the parents spent the remainder of their lives and are buried in the family cemetery in the locality of their old home. Mrs. Thomason is now 85 yrs old and lives on the old home place with her son S.N. (Samuel Nelson 'Bud' Thomason, the present owner." So after the death of her 2nd husband Stephen McComas, the widow 'Fannie McComas' went to live her last few years with her son.
