Mrs. Jennie M. Kuhn,79,
widow of Asa Kuhn, Pleasant Valley, near Smithsburg, died Monday morning at the Washington County Hospital, aged 79 years.

She was the daughter of David and Elizabeth (Warner) Bowman, and a member of the Pleasant Valley United Brethren Church.

Surviving are children, Harry Kuhn, New London, Conn.; Mrs. Raymond Pryor, Hagerstown; Mrs. Kenneth Willard, Highfield; Lester Kuhn, Oregon, Ill.; Donald Kuhn, Quincy, Pa.; Edwin Kuhn, Smithsburg; Berline Kuhn, Hagerstown; John Kuhn, Smithsburg; 25 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, David Bowman, Highfield; John Bowman, Cleveland Bowman, and Mahlon Bowman, all of Smithsburg.

The body was taken to the Creager Funeral Home, Thurmont, where friends may call until Wednesday, when it will be taken in the United Brethren Church, Pleasant Valley. The service will be held there at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, with interment in adjoining cemetery.
