Hold Funeral Service for Mrs. Margaret Elmore, 85
Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Margaret Elmore, 85 who died at her home in Willow Springs last Monday.
Margaret Melessia Lawson was born in Texas County April 05, 1866. She was united in marriage to Jesse A. ELmore in August, 1883. To this union five daughters and four sons were born. Her husband and one son preceded her in death.
Survivors are Mrs. Lena Pruett, Willow Springs; Mrs. Stella Sullivan, Altus, OK; Mrs. Rebah Pruett, Wichita, KS; Mrs. Pearl Bradford, Waterloo,Iowa; and Mrs. Ida Nease; and three sons Dallas Elmore, Willow Springs; Nelson and George Elmore, Wichita, Ks; 40 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Church of God with Rev. J.W. Hunter officiating. Burial was in City Cemetery under the direction of the Burns Funeral Home.
