George Elmore
George Elmore, 67, former resident of Houston died of a heart attack in Wichita, KS, Sunday night. Mr. Elmore was an uncle of Trooper Ed Elmore and the son of the late Rev. & Mrs. Jess Elmore.
The Elmore family came to Houston from Jack's Fork neighborhood then later left here and surviving members are scattered. Mr. Elmore's brother, Dallas Elmore, lives in Willow Springs, MO.
Wichita Evening Eagle (KS) 28 October, 1958 George L. Elmore, age 67, of 2646 N. Waco, passed away Monday, October 27, 1958 in the local hospital. Funeral service will be conducted in the Culbertson Mortuary Chapal 2:00 pm Wednesday.
The Rev. E.E. Kardatzke , pastor of the First Church of God, will officiate. Internment will be in the Wichita Park Cemetery. Parking available west of the mortuary. Entrance from Dodge Ave. A Culbertson service.
