TRAVERSE CITY -- Mrs. Cecilia Taylor, 57, of Traverse City, died suddenly Monday morning at Munson Medical Center.
The former Cecilia Daily was born June 20, 1910 at Saginaw. She was married to Richard Taylor at Mt. Pleasant in 1933, where they lived until moving to Traverse City in 1956. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Traverse City.
Surviving beside her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Gene (Bonnie) Merritt, of Blanchard, Mrs. Billy Ray (Beverly) Allen of Snyder, Texas, and Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Roush, of Vicarville.
Also, four sons, Robert of Caro, William of Blanchard, Terry and Edwin at home and 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Robert, William and Edward Daily, all of Saginaw and a sister, Mrs. Samuel (Kathryn) Lenick of Saginaw.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. this evening at the Martinson Funeral Home in Traverse City. A requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church with Msgr. R.W. Passeno officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
