DEATH OF MISS ELMA GREGG.
She Passed Away Quietly at Her Home in This City, About Noon Today.
Miss Elma Gregg, daughter of Mrs. Emma B. Gregg, living at No. 318 Market street, died at her home at 12:30 o'clock today, after a lingering illness of aenemia for the past two years. The deceased was born in Olathe twenty-three years ago. She removed with the family to Burlington a number of years ago and about two years ago removed to this city, since which time she has been an invalid. She leaves a widowed mother, one sister, Miss [sic] Louise Taylor, of Auburn, Kans., and five brothers, Messrs. E. Ross, Fred C., George H., Chester H. and Frank B. The two latter live in Eureka, Kans. The funeral service will be held at her late home tomorrow afternoon conducted by the Rev. F. J. Sauerber. The remains will be laid to rest in Maplewood cemetery.

Miss Elma Gregg died at the home of her brother, 318 Market street, just after noon today, of aenemia. Her death was entirely unexpected, as she was out driving yesterday, but was taken sick last night and remained unconscious until the time of her death. She was born in Olathe twenty-three years ago. She came to Emporia in November, 1895, and has lived here since that time. On account of sickness, she was not so well known in Emporia, but was a favorite will all who did know her. The funeral will be held at the house at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. Sauerber will conduct the services. The interment will occur in Maplewood cemetery.
