Annie R. Bowmwn, aged 62, widow of Emory D. Bowman of Smithsburg died Monday evening at the Washington County Hospital. Mrs. Bowman was a member of the Seventh Day Adventists, Smithsburg.

She is survived by the following children, Raymond and Joseph, Smithsburg; Mrs. Leroy Kline, Smithsburg; brothers, Wilbur, Waynesboro; Richard, Hagerstown; sister, Mary Miller, Smithsburg; Orpha Shillings, Chewsville and Naomi Bowman, Smithsburg; two granddaughters.

The body was removed to the Creager Funeral Home where friends may call. Friday the body will be taken to the church for services at 10:30 with the Rev. W. E. Moffitt and Rev. John Cameron officiating.


Burial will be made in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, near Smithsburg.

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie R. Bowman, widow of Emory D. Bowman, who died Monday at the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, were held Friday with services at the Smithsburg Seventh Day Adventist Church at 10:30 a.m. Services were in charge of Rev. W. C. Moffett and Rev. John Cameron.

Mrs. June Garrett sang "Beyond The Sunset."

Pallbearers were John Kuhn, Braydon Shilling, Richard Miller, Lynwood Deweese, Ray Wageman and Jason Bowman. Interment was made in Pleasant Valley cemetery. M. L. Creager Funeral Director.
