Roberta Hernandez of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Sunday September 3, 2006 at Saint Mary's of Michigan at the age 86 years. Roberta Romero was born June 6, 1920 in Johnson City, Texas. Roberta married Leonard Hernandez Sr. in 1945 he predeceased her July 19, 1982. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are six sons and four daughters; Leonard and Martha Hernandez, Tony Hernandez, Jesse and Alice Hernandez, Robert Hernandez, Joe and Delia Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Sally and Carlo Cirilo all of Saginaw, Tommie and Raymond Torrez of Midland, Dolores Limon and Lupe and Manuel Guerra both of Saginaw, many grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, a special friend Delores (Gomez) Perez, and many other nieces and nephews, family and dear friends. Roberta was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday September 8, 2006 at St. Casimir Catholic Church 2122 S. Jefferson Ave. Rev Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the W.L. Case Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. 2:00 to 9:00 p.m on Thursday and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the church. Family and friends will meet Thursday at 7:00p.m. at the funeral home for a vigil service for the deceased.
