Clifford Montgomery, 65, of Brady, long-time owner of Cliff's Liquor Store here, died about 11 AM Tuesday at his home. Services will be at 11 AM Thursday at Colonial Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
Born Feb. 7, 1917, in Brown County, he attended Lohn schools. He married Audrey Whitehead Dec. 8, 1945, in Burnet. A veteran of World War II, he lived in McCulloch County most of his life. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Sue) Friar of Brady; and three grandchildren, David, Jamie, and Bryan Friar, all of Brady.
