Funeral services were held for Arthur E.
Blackney, 59, native of Home City,
Kansas, and well known auctioneer was
held on Saturday morning at the Frank-
fort Methodist Church.
Mr. Blackney died at his home in Centralia,
Kansas, from what appeared to be a self
inflicted gun shot wounds, on Wednesday
morning August 8, 1956.
Services were held in the Frankfort Meth-
odist Church on Saturday morning with
Reverend Ira Willard officiating.
Casketbearers were George Flentie, Roy
Gustin, Duane Ice, James Ward, Walter
Smith and Chalmer Wright.
Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
