James "Jim" M. Baca, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 after a long battle with cancer.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Alice Baca, daughters, Jeannette (Tim) Wilson, Teri (Brad) Smith and Annalee Esterly and son, Jason (Phuong) Baca, grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Nolan and Audrina, step-grandchildren, Whitney, Hunter, KateLynn and KayLee, siblings, George (Bert) Baca, Rose (Robert) DeBlassie and Cecilia (Paul) Butler, brothers-in-law, Cale, Jack and Oran and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Mauricio and Estella L. Baca and brothers, Gilroy and Robert.
Jim retired from the Department of Defense at Kirtland Air Force Base after almost 35 years of service for our country. Jim was a long-time member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and The Pajarito Thunderbird Club.
Rosary will be recited on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at French - Wyoming Chapel, with visitation one hour prior from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
