Miss Maude P. Gage, 76, 475 W. Sarnia St., died at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, at 2 a.m. Friday after having been in failing health several years.
She was born here Nov. 12, 1882. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gage. Miss Gage, a retired teacher, was a member of Central Methodist Church. Surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graduate of Winona Senior High School and the Winona Normal School, Miss Gage was a teacher in the primary department of the Jefferson School for several years. She also taught in schools outside the city.
Dr. J. Allen Kestle will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday at Fawcett-Abraham Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. The Daily Record, May 9, 1959

Our sincere and grateful thanks are extended to our friends, neighbors and relatives for their various acts of kindness shown us in our recent bereavement, the loss of our cousin Maude.
