Savannah Jeannette Ducker Cary
February 15, 1889 - December 24, 1981

Franklin - Jeannette Ducker Cary, 92, formerly of Route 5, Hendersonville, died Thursday morning in a Franklin hospital after a period of declining health. She was a native of Buncombe County and a daughter of the late Solon Byron and Lorick Ashley Ducker. She was a member of the Fletcher Seventh Day Adventist Church and former owner/operator of Cary's Nursing Home.

Surviving are a son, Wallace Edward Fox of Philadelphia, PA; a daughter Martha Sumner of Franklin; a brother Frank Ducker of Arden; a sister, Maggie Corn of Arden; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two children, Delma Ducker and Robert Nathan Fox.

Services will be held at 2pm Saturday in the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Home. Elder Joseph J. Battistone will officiate. Burial will be in the Shepherd Memorial Park in Naples.

The family will receive friends from 7- 8:30pm Friday at the funeral home.
