Funeral services for Walter Ira Brown, former Shepherd Methodist church pastor, at the Stinson Funeral Home on Saturday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Salt River cemetery.
Mr. Brown died in Midland hospital on Thursday, where he was admitted more than two weeks ago. He was 66 years old.
Born June 10, 1886 in Shepherd. Mr. Brown was a farmer and carpenter in that community until moving to Midland about 10 years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alice Onstott and Mrs. Irene Doepker, Shepherd; a son, Lewis, Ludington; a sister, Mrs. Nora Burt and a brother, Edward Brown, both of Shepherd; and eight grandchildren.
