Ira Brown
Ira Brown was born April 12, 1837, at Uxbridge, Ontario. In 1869, he was married to Nancy Stoutenburg, who passed away in 1927. In 1881, they came to make their home near Shepherd, where Mr. Brown had lived on one farm for 34 years. His daughter, Mrs. Frank Burt, and husband, now reside there. Besides the daughter, he left to mourn their loss, three sons, Orin, of Lapeer; Ed. and Walter, of Shepherd.
