Claudine Forner
Claudine "Sybil" Forner, a resident of Porterville, died in Porterville Monday, Dec. 11, 2000. She was 76.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., with a vigil service at 6 p.m. Thursday at Whitehurst Loyd Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anne's Cemetery, with Deacon Jim Dieterle of St. Anne's Catholic Church officiating.
Mrs. Forner was born in Spearman, Texas. She was a resident of Porterville for 66 years, a homemaker and member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Max Forner; a son, Tony Forner; two daughters, Maria Forner and Becky Gregg, all of Porterville; three brothers, Dave Kirk of San Jose, Dale Kirk of Bakersfield and Walter Kirk of Grass Valley; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Kirk; and a sister, Mary Kirk.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anne's Church Building Fund, 378 North F Street, Porterville, CA 93257.
Arrangements are under the direction of Whitehurst Loyd Funeral Service.
