Joe Kenneth Day, 59, of Sparta, passed away July 13, 2007, at Harton Regional Medical Center, in Tullahoma.
Day was born June 16, 1948, in White County, to Laverne ‘Duck’ Day and Thelma Day.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee Elrod Day.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Jennifer, of Sparta; his parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Jane Day, of Sparta, and Dean and Patty Day, of Mt. Juliet; one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Jeff Baker, of Texas; and one granddaughter, Kiersten Day, of Sparta.
Arrangements:
Services were 2 p.m., July 15, 2007, at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. David Copeland officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
