Enola Martin Duplessis, 89 years old, a resident of Ponchatoula, and a native of Paulina, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at her residence. She was the beloved wife for 54 years to the late Eldred "Dupe" Duplessis. She is survived by three daughters, Pat and her husband Byron Vicknair of Prairieville, Brenda and her husband Randy Louque of Paulina, and Elaine and the late Donald "Blackie" Landry of Ponchatoula. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Angela Louque Evans (husband Andrew), Leigh Louque, Kimberly Landry Coates ( husband Steve), Kelly Landry, and Jason Vicknair, five great-grandchildren Storm, Quade, and Jazzmin Coates, Kali Lowery, Tytus Brumley, two sisters Edna Melancon and Lucille Babin and sister-in-law Doris Braud. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Annette Martin, sisters Hilda Waguespack, Irene Leblanc, Ethel LeBlanc. And brother Nichol Martin.Enola was a member of the Altar Society of Paulina. Her beautiful smile touched many lives and she will be deeply missed by everyone. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory Street in Paulina, LA 70763 on Wednesday April 18, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Followed by a Christian mass at 11:00 Interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum.
