Reuben A. Sawyer died in Lisbon, Androscoggin county, Maine, in 1882. He was an industrious farmer, and brought up his boys to habits of industry and frugality, they working on the farm while attending the district school. Late in life he left the farm at Pownal and removed to Lisbon.
