Mrs. Jennie Allen Boaz was born November 3, 1861, the daughter of Mr. Cornelius Allen, and was the third member of her father's family. She was married to James A. Boaz January 6, 1881, and departed this life at their home at Buckeye on Sunday, August 18, 1918. To this union was born four sons and two daughters, all but one now living. Mrs. Boaz joined the Methodist Church early in life and lived a faithful and consecrated life. The funeral service was conducted by Revs. W. E. Couser and J. F. Beasley and Elder W. J. Pinkstaff at the Methodist Church in Fayetteville on Monday, after which the interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
