Margie Mae Hylton Peters, 91, of Floyd, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at Skyline Manor Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey A. Hylton, and two sons: Winfred Hylton and Junior Hylton.
She was a long-time member of Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Ray Peters of Floyd; one daughter, Sylvia Boyd of Floyd; sons: Eugene A. Hylton of Floyd, Alfred Hylton of Vesta, Clinton Hylton of Willis, John Hylton of Indian Valley, Tommy Hylton and Harry Hylton, both of Floyd and Junior Peters of Ferrum; one sister, Elvie Vipperman of Patrick Springs; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at Maberry Funeral Home chapel in Floyd. The Revs. Joe Pyles and Tim Lane officiated. Burial was in the Shelor cemetery in Meadows of Dan
