Mrs. Adams was well known to the older residents of this community, where she lived for many years, until she moved with her husband to Minneapolis. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Elmer, Schuyler and Arthur.
Mrs. Adams was the first of a family of ten children to be called by death, being survived by five brothers and four sisters. Born April 22, 1848, she was in her 65th year at the time of her death.
Funeral services were held at the home in the city and the remains were brought to Elysian for interment at Cedar Hill cemetery Thursday.
