Julia C. Smith, 72, Michigan City, died at 7 p.m. Friday (March 15,1991) at her home.
The funeral will be at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith was born June 10, 1918, in Three Rivers, Mass, the daughter of John and Carolina Lupa Gondek. On Sept. 27, 1937, in Ware Mass., she married Edward W. Smith, who died Jan. 11, 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Bernard P. Smith, Michigan City, and Robert Smith, Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Dorothy Stephansen, Michigan City, five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A sister, Mary Gondek, and three brothers, George, Aloysius and Peter Gondek, are deceased.
Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and Lakeland Homemaker's Club.
