James Warren Founds, son of James and Julia
Founds was born in Stanford, West Virginia
on May 17, 1875 and passed away March 28,
1960 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed
Hazlett in Frankfort, Kansas where he had
moved Sunday evening from his home due to
flood waters.

He came to Kansas early in life and in 1898
married Ada Garrett at Oketo, Kansas. To
this union six children were born. His wife
Ada died on March 14, 1922. On November
21, 1923, he married Frances Marie Downing
at Seneca, Kansas. Six children were born
to this union.

Mrs. Founds preceded her husband in death in
July 1957. Also preceding him in death was a
son, Glen Doris.

He is survived by the following children Vera
Hazlett, Clara Faulkner, Leta Mae Feltner and
Fred Founds, Frankfort, Kansas; Jenny Catlin
Onaga, Helen Martin, Milford, Kansas,
Florence Goodman and Gladys Goodman,
Wheaton, Kansas, Cecil Founds, Topeka,
Kansas, Gerald Found, Ft. Riley, Kansas
Verga Lee Schulte, Great Falls, Montana.
He is survived by 29 grandchildren, 43 great-
grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren

Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
