Mary A. Behun (nee Glenicki) passed away Nov. 16, 2012, at the age of 87. Mary was an alumnae of Alvernia High School, a member of the Army Nurse Cadet Corps and a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing/Loyola University. She was the director of health services for Uniroyal, Inc. in Chicago for many years.
Mary was the beloved mother of Madeline (Al) May, David (Sally) Behun and Philip (Shari) Behun; cherished grandmother of Amy (Brian) Scott, Katie May, Molly May, Joseph Behun, Michael Behun and Michelle Behun; and devoted great-grandmother of Emily and Rebecca Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Priscilla Weclew and Joan Paul.
Loving thank you to extended relatives and loyal friends for unwavering support throughout her life.
The visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Hwy.), Mount Prospect. Services will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home, and proceed to St. Emily Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.
