Bette Maxine Elliott, 86, passed away at home January 27, 2007. She was born July 11, 1920 in Mitchell, South Dakota to George and Mae (Disbrow) MacDougall. She grew up and attended school in Mitchell. After years of dating, Bette married Pete Elliott on March 21, 1943. After living in Indiana and Illinois, they made Oklahoma City their home in 1989. Bette and Pete were members of Grace United Methodist Church. Bette was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Kent Elliott. She is survived by her husband Alan 'Pete' Elliott, son Roger Elliott and wife Cheri, and one grandson Matthew Elliott. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Thurs., Feb. 1, 2007 at Grace United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 531313, Henderson, NV 89053.
