REGINA LEADER POST:

BOIVIN_Alphonse late of Broadview passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the age of 77. Al is predeceased by his parents Paul and Henrietta; brothers: Wilfred, Tony, Philip and sisters: Irene, Olive, Marie. Left to celebrate his life is his wife of 50 years Wanda, five children: Phil (Jo-Ann), Doug (Barb), Russ (Daryl), Marc (Corrine), Marie (Brad). Five grandchildren: Danielle, Jennifer, Bryan, Nicole, Morgan; brothers: Oscar (Doris) and Leo (Judy); sisters: Laura Iseke-Ouimet, Millie Dell and Jeanette Quesnelle, numerous nieces and nephews. Al worked for C.P. Telecommunications and retired in 1986, he was active with the Wildlife Federation and was instrumental in the development of the Canada Goose Sanctuary in Broadview. He also instructed firearm safety, and in later years developed a passion for golf. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Highway #1 East on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Hedman officiating interment will follow at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Ave Regina, Sask., S4R 1A6. Arrangements are entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (789-8850).
