MADISON- Cheryl Daniels Gibson, 60, of Danbury Bridge Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at Penn Nursing Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Green Hill Cemetery in Greensboro.
Born in Guilford County, Cheryl attended Greensboro city schools. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Daniels and Evelyn Smothers Daniels Stanley and grandparents, Uncle Billy and Joanna Lee Smothers and Theowophis and Rosa Lee Daniels.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Huffman; son Richard (Angel) Powell of Reidsville; stepson Thomas Earle Huffman of Plymouth; daughters, Connie Giles of Reidsville and Shannon Powell of Eden; 10 grandchildren, Kayla, Kalan, Jo, Dustin, Shalyn, Christin, Nicholas, Cody, Brantley and Bridget; sister Rosalee (Jack) Brewer of Greensboro; stepfather Horace B. Stanley; nephew Mitchell (Melissa) Brewer; niece Joanna B. (Van) Whitesell; great-nephew Spencer Whitesell; great-niece Madison Whitesell.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison.
