Graveside services for Effie Carrigan Bullard, 91, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton with the Rev. H.E. Summar, a retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

She died Sunday, March 1, 1998, in Heritage Oaks Nursing Center.

She was born Nov. 23, 1906, in Comanche. She moved to Lubbock from Slaton in 1992. She was a member of Slaton's Bible Baptist Church. She married Walter W. Bullard on July 12, 1924, in Hamilton. He died July 23, 1992.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Jones of Lubbock and Lois Miller of Golden, Colo.; a brother, Paul Carrigan of Novato, Calif.; a sister, Hattie Garner of Burnet; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
