Mrs. O. F. Van Dusen, a well-known Union township resident, living southwest of Remsen, dropped dead last Thursday noon from heart trouble while at work about her home. Mrs. Van Dusen was 64 years of age and apparently enjoying her usual health. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home. Mrs. Van Dusen is survived by her husband and two children, a son, Frank, at home, and Mrs. Louis Kemp, of Moville.
Mrs. Van Dusen was an old time resident of the Union community and highly respected among a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
