The funeral of F. L. Van Dusen, brother of Mrs. L. A. Kemp, of Vermillion, S.D., was held at the Fisch Funeral Home on Wednesday, with Rev. Wuebben officiating. Funeral services were held here Wednesday for Frank Van Dusen, 61, former Remsen farmer who passed away Monday in a hospital at Vermillion, S. D.
Mr. Van Dusen was born February 18, 1885, on a farm near Kingsley and later farmed in Union township for many years. Leaving here in 1934 he spent two years farming near Anthon, then spent several years in various localities but in recent years made his home with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kemp at Burbank, S.D.
He suffered a paralytic attack about a year ago.
Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Kemp, two nieces and a nephew.
