Donald A. Capman
---Donald A. Capman, 74, 13990 A Drive South, died at his residence yesterday after an illness of six months.
---Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Battle Creek with private interment services at Lyon Lake Cemetery prior to the funeral. Friends may call at the Court-Putnam Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
---Mr. Capman was born on Sept. 10, 1907 in Stroh, Indiana to Charles and Essa (Kaub) Capman. On June 27, 1931 he married the former Dorothy Goddard in Detroit where the couple lived until 1951.
---Prior to 1960 he was a district representative for the J. I. Case Company. From 1960 until retirement in 1970 he was the Michigan representative for the Elkhart Institute of Technology.
---Capman was a member of the First Congregational Church of Battle Creek and IONIC Lodge 474 F & A M.
---He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Don R. Capman of Imlay City; three daughters, Mrs. Brian (Diana) Dolan of Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Osborn of San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. Donna Garfield of Topanga, Calif.; a brother, Kenneth Capman of Parchment; and nine grandchildren.
---Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Battle Creek. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
