Sarah Keen was the youngest child (of eleven) born to Reynold Keen Sr. (1738-1800) and his first wife (of three) Christiana Stille (1744-1777). [Sarah also had nine half-siblings from her father's third wife, Anne Lawrence (1752-1823).] This Sarah Keen is not to be confused with her older sister Sarah (1764-1765) who died at the young age of 1 year and 3 days, nor with any of the dozens of other "Sarah Keen" aunts and cousins!
Sarah Keen married James Cooper, son of Charles Cooper and Ann Sutherland, on October 25, 1812 in Philadelphia. The couple had a daughter, Mary Cooper (1816-1881) who married Edward Ellenborough Law (1801-1889).
