"Robert W. Driscoll, a resident of San Marino for over forty five years, passed away on November 28, 2004 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Los Angeles on December 11, 1926, he attended Carthay Circle Elementary School, John Burroughs Jr. High School, Los Angeles High School, Stanford University and USC Law School. He was an ensign in the Navy during WWII and Lieutenant J.G. in the Naval Reserves. A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Gail; his four children Laurie Jutzi (Alan), Douglas (Anita), Linda, and Tad (Clara), grandchildren, Brooke and Andrew Driscoll, Kristina Jutzi, Laura and Jeffery Driscoll and one great-grandchild. Over his 45-year legal career, he was a highly successful trial lawyer, specializing in Bankruptcy and Patent Litigation. A world traveler with his wife, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing throughtout his life. He was a talented piano player and loved ragtime and Dixieland music. Beloved by his family and friends for his warmth, great sense of humor, he will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillsdale College, Gifts and Estate Planning Office, 33 E. College, Hillsdale, MI 49242."
