Member of Fairmont United Methodist Church; retired from Lyman Printing and Finishing Company.
Survivors include three daughters, Fannie Louise Bradley, Juanita McCall and Mary Alice Fuller; two sons, Clyde Earl Towery and Marvin Towery; three sisters, Eara Arrington, Eva Kasselik and Kathleen McKinney; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by a son, R. Hubert Towery (November 2, 1925 - September 30, 1953
Visitation was held from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 1990 at the Wood Mortuary in Greer.
Services were held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 1990 at the Temple Independent Methodist Church in Spartanburg by the Revs. Harry McAbee and Donnie Powell. Burial was in Wood Memorial Park.
