Attack is Fatal to Matilda Fink
43 year-Old County Native In Sudden Death EArly This Morning at Home.
Matilda M. Fink, 43, of rural route one, city and a lifetime resident of Leavenworth County, died early this morning at her home as the result of a heart attack.
She was born January 21, 1904, in Leavenworth County, a daughter of Michael and Margaret Gates. On April 27, 1929, at St Joseph's of the Valley church she was married to Aloysius Fink.
Mrs. Fink was a a member of St. Joseph's of the Valley and of the Altar Society there.
She is survived by her husband, Aloysius Fink of the home, three daughters; Helen Marie, Theresa Ann and Mary Ellen Fink, all of the home; two sons, John Joseph and Aloysius P. Fink, Jr., both of the home; three sisters, Mrs William Marsh, Easton; Mrs. Phillip Meshcon, 412 Main street; and Mrs. John Will, 627 Miami street; two brothers, George Gates, rural route one, city; Michael Gates, Easton, and Joseph Gates, rural route one, city.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's of the Valley church, the Rev. Fr. Paul E. Kelly, paster, officiating Interment will be in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
Friends will assemble Friday night at 8:30 at the O'Donnell funeral chapel for the recitation of the rosary. The body will remain at the chapel until the time of service.
