Mack Allen personally built Prudy's coffin. Later, in the 1950s, a gravestone was purchased and placed on her grave at the Holliday Cemetery near Half Mountain in Kentucky. Dan Allen recalls carrrying the stone up the mountain by himself. In 1969, Mack and Stella made arrangements through Braman and Son Funeral Home in Knox, IN, to have Prudy's body exhumed. Floyd and Mack Allen then drove down to Magoffin County, KY and brought Prudy back to Starke County, IN where she was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery. The stone from Half Mountain was also moved to Crown Hill Cemetery.
