She was born August 26, 1922 in Granville, a daughter of the late Isaac D. and Gertrude B. [Shirk] Fogleman.
She attended Fayette High School, McAlisterville.
She is survived by her husband, Paul R. Lauver, whom she married December 23, 1950. She is also survived by a brother: Kenneth D. Fogleman, Mifflintown RR5, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Daniel, Leland, Melvin and, Harold Fogleman; and three sisters, Margaret Zimmerman, Ella Fogleman and E. Josephine Benner.
She was a member of Free Spring Church of the Brethren, Mifflintown RR2; TOPS, Richfield; Eastern Star, Mifflintown Chapter, and was very active in the Ladies Auxiliary of Delaware Township Fire Department. She had worked many years as a seamstress for L. Shellenberger and Sons, McAlisterville and East Salem; Cluett-Peabody, Lewistown and RAE-SAL, Port Royal.
The funeral will beat 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 30 at the Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, McAlisterville with Pastors Terry Smith and Michael Benner officiating. Interment will follow in East Salem Cemetery, Thompsontown RR1.
