SMITHVILLE, Ohio - Charles Guthrie Booth Jr., 60, of Smithville, formerly of Fenwick, W.Va., died Jan. 6, 1998, in Dunlap Memorial Hospital, Orrville, after a short illness.

He was a disabled inspector from B&O Railway, Akron, and was a veteran.

Surviving: daughters, Charlene Boothe of Summersville, W.Va., Elizabeth Boothe of Hatfield, Pa.; brothers, Joseph of Nettie, W.Va., James of Smithville; sister, Evelyn Thompson of Paducah, Ky.

Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Fields Cemetery, Nettie, with the Rev. Houston Boothe officiating.
