Hatfield apparently suffered a heart attack outside his home where he lived alone.
Born Sept. 26, 1890, in Ross County, Hatfield was a son of the late Jacob and Satah Jane Whaley Hatfield.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Besides the parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and nine sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Boyer Funeral Home, with Rev. Joseph Oyer officiating. Burial will be in Omega Cemetery.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
