Mrs. Margaret Mae Suess, 85, passed away on November 9, 2012 after a fall in Ocala, FL. She was born August 25, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI, the first of four daughters of William and Alice Bennoch. She and Thomas H. Suess were married in Saginaw, MI on September 22, 1956. Margaret was a graduate of Joliet Junior College. She worked as an Optician for many years and owned and operated a used paperback book store for several years. She was also a church secretary at two Catholic parishes and served as a lector for several years for Catholic masses. She is survived by her husband: Thomas of Ocala, FL. A daughter: Sharon M. Davis of Port Washington, NY and Ocala. A granddaughter: Lisa Meyer of Westbury, NY. A sister-in-law: Lilllian Sambs and her husband Michael of Menasha, WI. Also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three sisters and parents. Margaret was an avid reader, especially English mysteries and had an extensive interest in archeology, especially Egyptian. She loved to travel to Italy, France, England and the great Southwest. A special thanks to the staff at MRMC for their care and sensitivity in her hour of need. A memorial service will be conducted at the chapel at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 5 SE 17th St. in Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her name to Brothers Keepers in Ocala, FL. an inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Menasha, WI at a later date. Ocala - Mrs. Margaret Mae Suess, 85, of Ocala, passed away on November 9, 2012.
There will be a Mass for Margaret at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 15th, 2012.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday at the Blessed Trinity Chapel.
