Ira Earl Wolfe Sr., 70, of Kittanning RD 6 died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.
Born Dec. 13, 1897 om Garretts Run, Manor Township, he was a son of the late Marshall Lee and Alice (Wickline) Wolfe.
Mr. Wolfe was a retired employe of Ford City Borough Water and Electric Department. He was previously employed by the Ford City High School Maintenance Department After his retirement, he worked at Logsdon Cabinet Shop in Manorville.
He was a member of Manorville United Methodist Church, Lodge 244 of the Free and Accepted Masons, and Coudersport Consistory.
He leaves his wife, the former Cleo A. Gould; a son, Ira Earl Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Norma) Salsgiver of Kittanning; a brother, Marshall D. Wolfe, of Pittsburgh; and one grandson.

WOLFE SR. - Friends of Ira Earl Wolfe Sr. of Kittanning RD 6, who died Aug. 8, 1968, may call at James J. Davis Funeral Home, Kittanning after 7 this evening. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 11) at the funeral home, with the Rev. L. B. Owens officiating. Interment will be made in Kittanning Cemetery Arrangements by Davis.
