Passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 78.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Waechter) Zinger for 57 years.

Dear father of Richard Zinger, of Maryhill, Kevin Zinger of Victoria, B.C. and Wendy Sarazin and friend Paul Lebel of Kitchener and the late Carol (October 1961).

Alfred will be missed by his grandchildren Cassandra, Brandon, and Chad. Dear brother of Wilfred Zinger of Maryhill, Mary Kraehn of Kitchener and Margaret Rau of Detroit.

Predeceased by his parents William and Eva (nee Ellig) Zinger, brother Edward and sister Madeline Dietrich.

Alfred served on the Separate School Board and was a long-time member and Past Grand Knight of Council 6024 Maryhill Knights of Columbus.

Prayers were offered November 30, 2006 in the chapel of Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener followed by procession to St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill for Funeral Mass with Fr. Ronald Voisin officiating.

Interment St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Building Fund of St. Boniface Church would be appreciated by the family.
