Mr. and Mrs. Adam Seipel celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Tues., last week, in the home of their son Andreas Seipel in Meeme.
Adam and Katharina (nee Herr) (a sister of Michael Herr of Town Meeme), came from Alzenau in Bavaria, to America in 1847. They settled in Meeme, the second white family to settle there. They are now both in their 80's, but in good health.
